|Spec:||Colour video/ Sound/ large-scale projected installed video|
|Duration:||60 mins (looped)|
It is not often that we have the opportunity to witness the last hour of a creature’s life: in The Last 3600 Seconds of Wasp we share in a wasp’s final moments as he holds with every gasp of breath onto life. Though futile, his struggle to cling to life is passionate, tragic and universal.
The Last 3600 Seconds of Wasp was first installed at the Whitechapel Gallery, London and went on to be shown at the Herzliya Museum, Israel, for the Glasgow International Biennale of Contemporary Art and as a major outdoor installation at the Big Chill Festival, UK. In the collection of Clarks New Media.
